It’s Me

22 10 2008

I am from Haveri district. I have completed my Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the Karnataka University, Dharwad. I worked with Vidya Poshak, a NGO working for empowerment of student community for two and quarter years as a branch office coordinator for Haveri and Chikkamagalur districts of Karnataka. At Vidya Poshak I have handled the major projects and extended program support to additional projects both in the office and the field. I also worked at the VRL group of companies as a marketing executive for the publication section.

As a direct responsible branch office coordinator at Vidya Poshak, I have managed multiple responsibilities simultaneously like project implementation, field visits data management, community development, public relations, coordination of orientation functions, computerized library management, accounts, day-to-day routine office management and other project- specific activities.

In addition to my skill profile, I excel at public communication, data management, field visits, computer applications, internet, report and publication preparation, office maintenance, rapport building with stake holders and organizational behavior.

Swimming, traveling, photography, playing cricket, currency coin collection and learning about new software are my hobbies. Positive thinking, innovative and creative ideas, quick learning and smart work are my strengths.

My aim is to make my workplace better with my potential contribution to the organization wherever I work with using my skills, experience and capacity to learn quickly. I am passionate to work with development itself rather than profit sector. I also aim to work in senior cadre to deliver the better results, through all above said things including my learning from the prestigious fellowship awarded by The Deshpande Foundation.
